Product Development
Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior UI/UX Designer / UX Researcher to lead the design of intuitive, scalable, and AI-powered user experiences for a cloud-native US Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) platform. This expert-level role combines user-centered design, UX research, visual & interaction design, AI/ML dashboard design, and cross-functional collaboration.
You will design interfaces for Healthcare RCM modules (Claims, Coding, Collections, Scheduling, EDI) and AI-driven, autonomous agent workflows.
The role involves mentoring junior designers, collaborating with Product, Engineering, AI/ML, RPA, DevOps, and Compliance teams, and ensuring designs are accessible, performance-optimized, and developer-ready for modern MVC/.NET Core stacks.
Job Roles & Responsibilities
UX Research & User-Centered Design:
- Conduct user research, interviews, and contextual inquiries with stakeholders, including clients, end-users, and operational teams.
- Analyze workflows for Healthcare RCM modules to identify pain points and opportunities for AI, automation, and predictive analytics.
- Translate research into user personas, journey maps, and experience flows.
- Conduct usability testing for AI-driven dashboards, RCM workflows, and autonomous agent interfaces.
Interaction & Visual Design:
- Design wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for complex RCM interfaces, AI dashboards, and multi-agent interactions.
- Collaborate with Product, AI/ML, and RPA teams to ensure user-friendly adoption of autonomous agents and predictive analytics.
- Implement design systems, style guides, and UI standards for consistency, accessibility, and brand compliance.
- Ensure responsive, accessible (WCAG 2.1), and performance-optimized designs for web and mobile platforms.
AI/GenAI & Agentic AI Integration:
- Design interfaces that leverage GenAI, LLMs, and autonomous agents, ensuring intuitive interactions with AI-powered assistants.
- Collaborate with AI/ML engineers to visualize model outputs, predictions, and recommendations effectively.
- Incorporate multi-agent orchestration workflows and automation into the UX, minimizing cognitive load.
Prototyping & Validation:
- Create interactive prototypes using Figma, Adobe XD, Axure, or similar tools for rapid iteration and stakeholder feedback.
- Conduct A/B testing, heuristic evaluation, and accessibility testing to optimize user experience.
- Use analytics and user behavior data to inform design decisions and improve AI/ML interface adoption.
MVC / .NET Core & Modern Stack Collaboration:
- Collaborate with front-end and back-end engineers to ensure designs are feasible with .NET Core MVC, React, Angular, Blazor, and microservices architectures.
- Ensure design components and UI patterns are optimized for performance, scalability, and cloud deployment.
- Participate in design reviews to guide API-driven UI/UX and integration with AI/ML and RPA workflows.
Collaboration & Mentorship:
- Work closely with Product Managers, Data Scientists, AI Engineers, RPA Developers, and DevOps teams to align UX with technical and business requirements.
- Mentor junior UX/UI designers on best practices for AI/ML, RPA, and Healthcare RCM workflows.
- Advocate for user experience in cross-functional design reviews and strategy discussions.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HCI, Design, Psychology, Computer Science, or related fields.
- 7–12+ years of experience in UX/UI design, preferably in enterprise software, healthcare, or AI-driven platforms.
- Proven experience designing interfaces for AI/ML, GenAI, Agentic AI, or autonomous workflows.
- Strong knowledge of Healthcare RCM workflows (Claims, Coding, Collections, Scheduling, EDI) preferred.
- Experience with cloud applications (AWS, Azure, GCP) and integrating AI-powered dashboards.
Technical Expertise:
- Design & Prototyping Tools: Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Axure, InVision
- Front-End Awareness: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Angular, Blazor
- Back-End Awareness: MVC patterns, .NET Core (latest versions), API integrations, microservices
- Data Visualization: Tableau, Power BI, D3.js, Plotly, Looker for AI/analytics dashboards
- Accessibility & Standards: WCAG 2.1, ARIA, responsive design principles
- UX Research & Analytics: User interviews, surveys, A/B testing, heatmaps, Google Analytics
- AI/ML & Agentic AI Integration: Designing interfaces for LLMs, autonomous agents, predictive analytics, RPA workflows
- Collaboration & Versioning: Jira, Confluence, Miro, Zeplin, Git for design handoff
- Cloud Awareness: AWS, Azure, GCP for design considerations in cloud-native applications
Skillset:
- Strong user-centered design, problem-solving, and interaction design skills.
- Ability to translate complex AI/ML outputs and RCM workflows into intuitive interfaces.
- Expertise in cross-functional collaboration with AI, Data, RPA, and Cloud teams.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and mentorship skills.
- High attention to detail, accessibility, compliance, and user adoption in healthcare applications.
Strategic Impact:
- Deliver high-quality, AI/ML-enabled UX for Healthcare RCM platforms, improving operational efficiency and end-user satisfaction.
