Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Python Programmer to lead the development, optimization, and deployment of scalable, high-performance backend systems for a cloud-native US Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) platform. This expert-level role requires mastery of Python development, microservices, REST/GraphQL APIs, AI/ML & GenAI pipelines, Agentic AI, autonomous agents, RPA integration, and cloud-native architectures. You will collaborate with Product, Data, AI/ML, RPA, DevOps, and Compliance teams to implement secure, robust, and high-throughput systems supporting Claims, Prior Authorization, Scheduling, Coding, Collections, Payments, Denials, AR, and EDI workflows.

The role also involves mentoring junior developers, defining backend architecture best practices, and ensuring smooth integration with front-end dashboards, analytics tools, and AI-driven automation systems.

Job Roles & Responsibilities

Backend Development & Architecture:

• Design, develop, and maintain Python-based backend services and APIs using FastAPI, Flask, Django, or Tornado.
• Implement microservices, event-driven architectures, and serverless functions for complex RCM modules.
• Integrate REST/GraphQL APIs, messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and database services for high-performance, real-time data processing.
• Develop reusable libraries, modules, and SDKs to support internal and external integrations.

AI/ML, GenAI & Agentic AI Integration:

• Build Python pipelines for AI/ML model training, inference, and monitoring (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Implement data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model deployment pipelines.
• Enable GenAI-powered workflows, autonomous agents, and multi-agent orchestration using Python scripts and orchestration frameworks.
• Integrate Python services with RPA bots, AI agents, and predictive analytics dashboards for seamless automation.

Data & Big Data Integration:

• Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to build ETL/ELT pipelines using Python for Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Spark, and Hadoop.
• Develop data validation, cleaning, and transformation scripts for structured and unstructured datasets.
• Ensure real-time and batch processing for operational and analytical use cases in RCM.

Testing, Quality & DevOps:

• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using PyTest, Unittest, or equivalent frameworks.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployments (Docker/Kubernetes), and cloud-native monitoring.
• Ensure secure, scalable, and compliant code, adhering to HIPAA, SOC 2, and internal governance standards.

Collaboration & Mentorship:

• Collaborate with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, AI/ML Engineers, RPA Developers, and DevOps Teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Mentor junior Python developers, promoting best practices in Python coding standards, AI/ML integration, and cloud-native backend development.
• Participate in architecture and code reviews, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or related fields.
• 8–12+ years of experience in Python development, preferably in enterprise software, healthcare, or AI-driven platforms.
• Proven experience building microservices, REST/GraphQL APIs, and serverless architectures.
• Strong experience integrating Python backend services with AI/ML, GenAI, RPA, and autonomous agents.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerized deployments (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with healthcare RCM workflows, EDI, and regulatory compliance preferred.

• Testing & Quality: PyTest, Unittest, coverage tools, API testing
• Security & Compliance: HIPAA, SOC 2, RBAC, data encryption, audit logging
• Version Control & Collaboration: Git, Jira, Confluence, Slack, Miro

Skillset:

• Strong backend architecture, problem-solving, and Python programming skills.
• Ability to integrate AI/ML, GenAI, Agentic AI, and RPA workflows into scalable backend systems.
• Expertise in cloud-native, microservices, and high-throughput data pipelines.
• Mentorship skills for junior developers.
• Strong focus on performance, security, compliance, and reliability.
