Job Roles
- Develop and execute project plans, timelines, and budgets for RCM transitions, while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Build the department and team of RCM Transition Specialists to ensure they are delivering high-quality services and meeting project timelines and budgets.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including IT, billing and coding teams, vendor partners, and clients, to identify and resolve issues related to RCM transitions.
- Ensure that RCM processes, policies, and procedures are optimized for efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Analyze and report on RCM performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure alignment with client needs and expectations.
- Develop and deliver training programs for staff and clients on new RCM systems and processes.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices related to RCM, and incorporate them into RCM transition plans and strategies.
- Manage communication plans and ensure that all stakeholders are informed of the progress of RCM transitions.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential risks associated with RCM transitions.
- Work collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition and integration of RCM systems and processes.
- Identify opportunities for innovation and process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of RCM services.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Candidate needs to have Excellent Communication and Presentation skills.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, with at least 3- 5 years in a leadership or project management role.
- Proven experience in managing complex RCM transition projects, including developing and executing project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Strong leadership skills, including the ability to manage a team of professionals and provide direction and guidance to achieve project goals.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders and clients.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to inform decisions and drive process improvements.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards related to healthcare revenue cycle management, including HIPAA, HITECH, and CMS guidelines.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Experience with RCM systems and technologies, including electronic health record (EHR) systems, billing and coding software, and claims processing platforms
