Job Roles
- IT Infrastructure Management: Oversee and manage the day-today operation of IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, networks, and security systems. Ensure all systems are running optimally and efficiently.
- Server & Network Administration: Manage and troubleshoot a range of systems including Windows Servers, Domain Controllers, File Servers, and Office 365 email. Administer Active Directory, Group Policies, and Endpoint Security solutions.
- Backup & Patch Management: Ensure proper backup processes are in place and regularly tested. Manage patch management processes to ensure all systems are secure and up to date.
- IT Security Management: Develop and enforce IT security policies and procedures to protect organizational data and systems. Work to maintain a secure network environment by implementing proactive security measures.
- IT Asset & Inventory Management: Maintain an accurate record of IT assets and inventory. Manage the lifecycle of hardware and software resources, ensuring proper allocation, deployment, and retirement.
- Helpdesk & Service Desk Operations: Supervise and manage the Helpdesk and Service Desk functions, ensuring timely and effective resolution of IT issues and support requests from employees and stakeholders.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and managing a team of Helpdesk engineers and support staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the team.
- Documentation & Process Improvement: Ensure robust
- documentation practices for system configurations, IT policies, incident responses, and troubleshooting procedures. Regularly review and improve existing IT processes for efficiency and accuracy.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in IT support, including network and server management, with a solid understanding of IT infrastructure management.
- Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Group Policies, O365, data backup systems, and endpoint security management.
- Network & System Administration: Strong knowledge of computer networks, network administration, and installation of network systems.
- Familiarity with data center management and governance. Security & Compliance Knowledge: Understanding of IT security principles, frameworks, and standards, including ITIL, ISO27001, and PCI DSS.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent troubleshooting abilities in complex IT environments, with a strong focus on minimizing downtime and ensuring efficient IT operations.
- Availability: Open to working in a 24/7 environment to support the organization’s IT infrastructure and ensure timely issue resolution. Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to interact effectively with offshore users and crossfunctional teams.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as ITIL, CompTIA Network+, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) would be an advantage.
