Job Role
- Perform the role of the HR contact for various employee activities
- Reiterate and continuously develop talent management frameworks including goal-setting, career development, reward & recognition, transfers and promotions and performance improvement matters
- Guide the development and implementation of employee-related programs and processes that support the business requirements of the company and be a resource to each of the business heads
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations challenges in a positive and proactive manner through listening, collecting data, conducting investigations, and providing feedback to managers to ensure appropriate follow through
- Monitor and interpret trends and metrics around employee satisfaction, attrition and turnover and establish recommendations for improvements or enhancements based on data analysis
- Implement HR strategies that will attract, develop, and retain the breadth of talent who will drive the company’s business goal
- Act as brand ambassadors for the company and develop employee programs that promote the company to be an employer of choice
- Ensure compliance with company values, policy, procedures, and state and federal laws Define a structured Engagement Plan across business units
- Conducts skip level meetings and One-on-ones Meet with the Team Leaders/Managers and Teams at regular intervals to understand their concerns and to apprise them of any HR updates
- Generating floor intelligence report
- A monthly discussion with the HOD of the program to discuss the major issues Grievance Handling
- To understand employee grievances and to give them a permanent solution on the same
- Floor support – To conduct focus groups and one-on-ones to understand the motivation level on the floor and plan for activities accordingly
- SPOC for Internal Job Postings – To communicate current openings to all the employees and also make sure that interested employees apply for the same
- Database (HRMS) updation and maintenance – To provide inputs to the PS team on changes in Employee Status and thereby maintain the master employee database for each employee in the individual programs
- Employee engagement activities – Fun at work activities to have a high energy level on the work floor
- Policies – Implementation of HR Policies of the company and provides critical support and feedback in the process
- Performance Management system – To ensure authenticated data reaching the right person for appraisals
- Code of conduct implementation – To ensure each employee follows the code of conduct of the organization
- Rewards and Recognition – Facilitate the monthly program to recognize the talented and outstanding employees by ensuring nominations, ratification of data and analysis of the same
Desired Skills
- Minimum experience of 6+ years in an employee relation/business partnering role
- Must be flexible to work in US shifts
- Team management skills
- Should be able to ensure succession planning amongst team members
- Microsoft Outlook/ Word/ Excel skills to be able to document and analyze obtained information/ data from various diagnostic sessions of various people development and other BAU projects being handled
- Knowledge of labor/Industrial laws
- Preferred Qualification – MBA HR
